The RED line separates the right and left pages, the first spread shows the cover (right) and back page (left), all others are the full spreads when open.
Urban Plots was an initiative started with an aim to take advantage of the abandoned lots and spaces, around the city of Richmond, and turn them into community gardens. The project consisted of the overall design/logo, app prototype, and a booklet laying out the design. Here are a select number of pages from the booklet.
The app included a community calendar where individuals would have their certain days or times to water, a news feed that included gardening tips, and a social component, so that people in the community could talk, plan and work together around each persons availability.
Feel free to shoot me an email with any questions, ideas, or projects you may have, and I'll be sure to get back to you ASAP!
